The client is seeking a Head of OT&A Integration to lead the end-to-end deployment of operational technology (OT) products across a project focused on modernising terminal operations. The role partners with cross-functional teams and terminal operations stakeholders to implement next-generation automated systems in a highly technical, global environment, while aligning global product definitions with site-specific conditions and configurations.
Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining comprehensive project management plans covering scope, timelines, resource allocation, risk mitigation, and compliance; managing OT/operational performance ramp-up to match overall project delivery pace, including switch-over from conventional to automated assets; defining and executing an OT product optimization strategy with product owners, equipment OEMs, and terminal stakeholders; and ensuring site-specific needs are met through consultation with project and terminal teams within the product blueprint for site deployment.
The role also involves managing and leading a team of OT experts, operationalising cross-functional product definitions across terminal-specific conditions, providing regular progress and performance reporting to senior management, and collaborating with other OT&A managers to establish and continuously improve a common deployment approach and ensure relevant frameworks are followed. The successful applicant will typically have a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Project Management (with a master’s preferred), deep knowledge of infrastructure for brownfield or greenfield environments, experience leading complex OT/automation deployments, strong stakeholder management and change-management skills, and intermediate German proficiency (B2), along with strong technical understanding of OT systems and cybersecurity; English proficiency is also required.
