Our client is seeking a Head for a new Business Unit focused on Electrical and Electronic solutions. The client is recognized for the high quality and reliability of its products, which are used across various industrial and electrotechnical settings. The role involves defining and implementing a strategy and business plan for this newly formed unit, driving it from its early stages through to full development. This position requires identifying and cultivating new markets and customer bases, managing all aspects of profit and loss as well as setting performance targets. The role will also involve close collaboration with research and development, operations, and sales departments to ensure successful deployment of products and solutions.
The successful candidate will be responsible for building and leading a dedicated team, instilling a culture focused on performance. A key aspect of the role is to monitor market trends, the competitive environment, and customer needs to ensure the unit's offerings remain relevant and competitive. This position requires regular reporting to top management on the unit's progress and outcomes. Applicants are expected to have a background in electrical, automation, energy, or related sectors, along with a strong strategic mindset, hands-on execution capabilities, and commercial acumen. Exceptional leadership and communication skills are vital, as well as fluency in Italian and English.
