The client is developing an exclusive private members club aboard a purpose-built superyacht, combining luxury hospitality, shared ownership, and access to elite lifestyle experiences. The Head of Membership Sales will lead strategic member acquisition and engagement for a highly selective community, with the goal of securing a target number of members primarily from the United States and other key markets within a defined timeframe while maintaining a culture of discretion and exclusivity aligned with the client’s brand values.
The role will design and execute a global membership acquisition strategy targeting ultra-high-net-worth individuals, building a curated sales pipeline through personal outreach, strategic referrals, and private introductions. The Head of Membership Sales will engage and convert prospective members in a way that reflects the club’s ethos, represent the club at strategic gatherings to enhance visibility and engagement, and collaborate with operations and brand teams to create cohesive onboarding experiences for new members.
The client expects the Head of Membership Sales to build and lead a high-performing membership coordination team, maintain structured CRM processes, and provide regular insights to management. The role also involves contributing to member benefits and experiences based on community feedback. Ideal candidates typically bring 8–10 years of experience in high-end sales or relationship management targeting UHNW individuals within luxury environments, with strong communication skills, emotional intelligence, organizational and leadership capability, fluency in English, additional languages as an advantage, and willingness to travel internationally as needed with legal authorization to work in the U.S.
