The client is building a self-custodied, layer-one Bitcoin stablecoin that enables Bitcoin users to borrow a Bitcoin-native stablecoin secured by their BTC without relinquishing custody or leaving the Bitcoin blockchain. The client is seeking a visionary Head of Marketing to lead marketing efforts for a leading Bitcoin-based stablecoin protocol, with a focus on driving adoption, brand recognition, and growth across Bitcoin DeFi and the broader crypto ecosystem.
The Head of Marketing will develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to boost protocol adoption and foster community engagement. This role will include building, mentoring, and managing a marketing team and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and KPIs, as well as collaborating with product and technical teams to translate complex concepts into compelling campaigns. The position also involves monitoring market trends and competitor activity to refine strategies over time, managing the marketing budget with a focus on maximizing ROI, and representing the protocol through participation in crypto conferences and hosted events, including online formats.
Requirements include director-level marketing experience, with at least one year in the crypto industry and a preference for DeFi experience. The ideal candidate will have strong passion for Bitcoin DeFi and related Bitcoin constructs, deep knowledge of Bitcoin and DeFi, a proven record of designing and executing impactful marketing campaigns, and exceptional communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
