the client is seeking a strategic manufacturing operations leader to lead large-scale manufacturing transformation across multiple production sites. The role will drive overall manufacturing strategy and execution, ensuring production capacity aligns with business demand and commercial direction. You will lead end-to-end plant operations, including production, maintenance, and engineering, while improving operational performance through productivity, efficiency, and cost optimization.
You will implement operational excellence through best-in-class manufacturing practices such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and TPM. This includes improving OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), yield, and plant utilization, and leading cost reduction initiatives across production, materials usage, and operational processes. The role also involves establishing KPI-driven performance management across plants and ensuring processes meet international quality standards, regulatory requirements, and safety and internal policies.
Collaboration will be central to the position, working closely with supply chain, procurement, and planning to support efficient production flow and aligning manufacturing capabilities with commercial and innovation teams for new product launches. Where applicable, you will manage vendor and external manufacturing partners. The successful applicant is expected to have a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field, with an advanced degree often being an advantage, along with significant manufacturing operations leadership experience managing large-scale facilities; experience in FMCG or high-volume manufacturing is preferred. Strong communication skills in English are required, and Thai communication is also required.
