The client is seeking a Head of Learning & Development/Talent Development for a 12-month fixed term contract in Northamptonshire or West Midlands. The main goal is to establish a Learning Academy to shape the future workforce by designing, launching, and embedding a learning culture that supports long-term business growth. Responsibilities include building a 5-year workforce plan, developing learning pathways for key skills, partnering with external providers for training, and creating a certification framework and career paths.
The ideal candidate will have experience launching a Learning Academy in a technical/industrial setting, engaging offline/frontline teams in learning, and strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills. They should also possess excellent stakeholder management skills, high emotional intelligence, and the ability to influence diverse teams. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with the HR team and Business, with the potential for a longer-term or permanent opportunity. The position is mainly onsite with some flexibility for remote work, offering a salary of up to a385,000 per annum.
