the client is seeking a senior commercial leader to design and implement an end-to-end commercialization strategy for early-stage and pre-launch assets. This role will build a lean, high-performing commercial organization with an emphasis on quality over scale, establishing commercial operating models, governance, processes, and performance systems. Responsibilities include market shaping, launch readiness, and go-to-market planning across the pipeline and early-launch portfolio.
The role will hold full P&L responsibility, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance management. It will define headcount structures, incentive models, and deployment strategies grounded in clear ROI logic, while ensuring disciplined cost control and capital efficiency with measurable accountability. The commercial leader will also partner in internal due diligence, asset valuation, and investment decision-making to support capital allocation and commercial prioritization.
In addition, the leader will create and advance sales force effectiveness frameworks covering territory design and sizing, targeting and segmentation, incentive compensation and productivity KPIs, and performance management with analytics. The position will also drive strategic marketing, brand strategy, lifecycle planning, and omnichannel engagement by translating customer insights into field-executable approaches, and coordinating cross-functional alignment across Medical, Access, Regulatory, and R&D. The client expects regional commercialization leadership across APAC with a strong execution focus in China, requiring stakeholder engagement and external partner coordination as needed to accelerate market entry and growth.
