The client is seeking a Head of IT & E-Commerce to lead the IT, IT Support, and E-Commerce teams in driving business objectives. The role includes overseeing all e-commerce activities and advancing the e-commerce platform and web presence. The position will also support collaboration across technology, sales, and operations to fulfill company goals and contribute to the growth of online business.
Key responsibilities include implementing CRM and AI-driven customer experience capabilities into web architecture and infrastructure, defining standards, policies, procedures, and organizational enhancements, and being responsible for website design, web applications, and related features according to specifications. The role will involve bridging design and technology, establishing reliable technology services and support across software architecture and corporate and affiliate/marketing websites, and contributing to strategic online marketing planning while staying current with evolving digital marketing environments.
The successful candidate will monitor technology assets and compliance, including hardware, software, databases, and licensing agreements, as well as maintenance, updates, and future capacity needs aligned with growth. They will develop and monitor department budgets and forecasts, research and evaluate third-party software for development lifecycle needs, prepare decision-making material for top management and the board, and oversee backups and cloud solutions when necessary. Requirements include 10+ years of relevant business experience, strong stakeholder management, demonstrated leadership experience, and a background in computer science or equivalent relevant experience, along with strong knowledge of modern back- and front-end programming languages and ideally experience in e-commerce and/or network marketing.
