The client is seeking a Head of Investor Relations to own fundraising and investor relations activities. The role will build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential investors, ensuring consistent communication and alignment with investor preferences. In a fast-paced, innovative environment, the position is expected to help drive successful fundraising from strategic and financial investors and represent the company’s brand accurately in investor and market-facing communications, including in the blockchain and related liquidity and funding landscape. The Head of Investor Relations will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer.
Key responsibilities include identifying and connecting with potential investors; preparing and maintaining investor-facing materials such as investor presentations, private placement memoranda, and due diligence materials; and managing the execution of fundraising activities with a focus on optimizing investor communication and coordinating investor information needs during due diligence and site visits. The role will lead the end-to-end fundraising process, service the existing investor base, coordinate periodic and ad-hoc investor meetings, and handle investor inquiries by liaising with relevant investment teams to ensure timely, high-quality responses. The position will also partner with Finance and other teams to support investor relations messaging and content development, and coordinate with Finance and Legal/Compliance on reporting obligations.
Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in business, management, finance, or a related field, along with at least five years of experience working with or for private equity, venture capital, and investment banking. The client is seeking candidates with knowledge and/or experience in the current crypto and blockchain landscape, along with excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills. Strong interpersonal and networking abilities, excellent time management and prioritization, demonstrated capability to manage multiple assignments while meeting deadlines, and strong attention to detail are required to produce accurate, high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
