Description

the client seeks a hands-on HR leader with strong experience in employee relations and a clear ability to drive implementation in an industrial, transformation-focused environment. In this role, you will develop and implement a holistic, future-oriented HR strategy aligned with the organization’s long-term goals, supporting growth, transformation, and competitiveness. You will serve as a strategic sparring partner for leaders across all people- and organization-related topics.

Key responsibilities include owning core HR processes across the employee lifecycle, including talent management, employee retention and development, and initiating and supporting transformation and change initiatives. You will further develop, standardize, and optimize HR processes to improve efficiency, and you will actively shape and evolve the company culture. The role also includes building and maintaining a trusted working relationship with the works council, ensuring effective collaboration and constructive engagement in day-to-day HR matters.

The position requires solid knowledge of German labor law, proven experience in transformation and change projects, and strong stakeholder management skills supported by analytical, data-based decision-making. A relevant university degree in HR or a comparable field is expected, with additional training in change management or organizational development being advantageous. Proficiency in German and English at a high level, experience with HR systems and talent/performance tools, and at least 10 years of HR experience in an international context are expected, along with leadership experience and demonstrable results in transformation, organizational development, talent acquisition, and collaboration with employee representative bodies. You will lead an HR team of three employees across multiple locations and take responsibility for the HR budget.
