The client is seeking a Head of HR Operations to lead and deliver a best-in-class global HR operations function across multiple countries and sites, supporting a large and diverse international workforce. This senior leadership role will shape the HR operations strategy and ensure efficient, scalable, and commercially focused people services, including strong governance, compliance, and end-to-end employee lifecycle management. The position reports to the HR Director with a dotted line to the Chief People Officer and leads the HR Operations team.
Key responsibilities include setting the global HR Operations strategy; overseeing the full employee lifecycle such as onboarding, contracts, payroll governance, benefits, mobility, employee records, and offboarding; and providing leadership to develop a high-performing team focused on accountability, continuous improvement, and exceptional service delivery. The role will also optimize HR systems and people technology infrastructure, including HR platforms and data management, reporting, and people analytics to drive insights and support strategic decision-making. Robust controls and governance will be established and maintained to support compliance with employment legislation and relevant privacy, safeguarding, and organizational policy requirements.
The successful candidate will bring strategic and operational HR leadership experience managing complex HR operations in large, fast-paced, multi-site organizations, typically supporting headcounts of 1,000 or more, and will have demonstrated team leadership capability. Experience leading HR transformation, process improvement, and service excellence initiatives is expected, alongside strong stakeholder management skills to partner effectively with senior leaders. Preferred qualifications include professional HR standing (for example, CIPD at Level 7 or equivalent), and candidates should have solid expertise in HR operations, governance, employment legislation, employee lifecycle management, HR technology, data governance, reporting, and people analytics.
