Description

The client is seeking to appoint a Head of HR to direct the HR function for the APAC region in a leading consumer-driven organization within the FMCG sector. This is a permanent, full-time leadership role located in Singapore, critically tasked with achieving HR excellence across diverse markets in Asia Pacific. The successful candidate will steer an experienced HR team of five members, supporting the organization as it enters a transformative phase aimed at long-term growth, ensuring HR operations are future-ready and capable of maintaining robust support for expansion endeavors.

The role encompasses comprehensive ownership of the regional HR model, driving execution of key processes such as workforce planning, employee lifecycle management, organizational development, talent management, and HR operations. Despite being a leadership position, the successful candidate must remain actively engaged in operations, collaborating closely with senior stakeholders to contribute on both operational and strategic levels. Emphasizing capability building and consistency, the HR leader will focus on upskilling the team while driving HR-led digital initiatives and fostering continuous improvement and innovation across the organization.

The ideal candidate is an accomplished HR professional with over 15 years of experience in managing HR across multiple APAC markets, particularly within high-paced, matrixed environments like the FMCG sector. A history of leading HR teams in complex, culturally diverse environments is essential. The role requires a strong capacity for navigating both developed and emerging markets, harmonizing practices while appreciating cultural differences.
