Description

the client is seeking a Head of HR APAC (Managing Director) to serve as a trusted, key member of both the regional and global HR leadership teams. Partnering closely with the Global Chief Human Resources Officer and acting as a core member of the regional and global leadership team, the successful candidate will provide full accountability for the APAC HR business partnering and advisory agenda, leading regional HR business partnering and broader HR centres of excellence functions.

This high-profile, enterprise-critical leadership role will provide strategic counsel to senior leadership across major business lines and international markets, during a period of sustained investment, growth, and transformation. The role will work closely with global counterparts to shape and deliver people strategies aligned to the organisation’s commercial priorities and long-term objectives, and will collaborate with regional executive committee members, business heads, and global HR leaders to drive high-performance outcomes in a complex, highly matrixed, international environment.

The remit spans end-to-end HR business partnering delivery, including senior stakeholder advisory, executive talent and succession, performance and rewards governance, organisation design, leadership development, culture, and transformation. The client expects a leader who can credibly influence, challenge, and partner senior stakeholders as a trusted advisor, driving consistent, best-in-class HR practices across APAC. Demonstrable experience leading regional and global HR agendas through business and workforce change within a front-office, revenue-generating, heavily regulated context is essential, with strong commercial acumen, sophisticated HR expertise, and experience leading senior teams across multiple international markets at managing director level or equivalent.
