The client is seeking a Head of Housing Works to lead a transformational, high-profile operational function. In this role, you will take ownership of a large in-house delivery service and will report directly to the Director, with responsibility for repairs, maintenance, compliance, and planned works across a significant housing portfolio. You will join as a newly designed operating structure moves from concept into delivery, with the opportunity to shape culture, standards, and ways of working to drive consistent, high-quality outcomes for residents.
You will lead a direct labour organisation and supply chain to ensure safe, compliant, and value-for-money delivery, while driving performance, productivity, and effective planning. You will act as an intelligent supplier by translating commissioning priorities into operational delivery, and you will modernise services by making best use of data, systems, and mobile working. You will also build leadership capability and accountability across management teams, embedding a right-first-time culture and strengthening organisational performance through improvement and change.
