the client is an operating group and growth partner for a leading venture capital firm in web3, focused on delivering sustainable operational performance within portfolio companies through a hands-on approach from strategy setting to frontline execution. the client drives value-creation initiatives by reshaping narratives in the blockchain space and helping portfolio teams translate strategy into market-facing execution.

as Head of Growth, you will be part of the leadership team and responsible for shaping growth priorities across portfolio companies by building growth strategies, executing projects, and mobilizing organizations to meet objectives. you will lead strategy and execution across a portfolio “client book,” and may also serve as a right-hand partner to founders to ensure a compelling story reaches and activates core audiences. your work will emphasize relationship health, brand ownership, and adapting messaging and strategy to a constantly changing ecosystem.

key responsibilities include managing relationships with multiple portfolio companies, delivering high-quality marketing strategy, campaigns, and results, and partnering cross-functionally across pr, kol, content, marketing, growth, and events. you will define roadmaps and okrs, establish kpis, run channel reporting and attribution modeling, set goals to achieve desired returns, and take hands-on ownership through ad hoc projects. you will oversee marketing budgets, public relations execution, content and social strategy, and growth campaigns across paid and owned media, while monitoring performance with data and analytics to optimize roi; you may also represent the client at industry events and keep abreast of emerging marketing trends and practices. ideal qualifications include several years of experience leading marketing and communications for early and growth-stage crypto or web3 companies, strong strategic and analytical skills, demonstrated success with campaigns and announcements, and the ability to translate consumer insight into actionable plans.
