the client is seeking a Head of Global Travel Retail to lead the Travel Retail and Duty Free channel across both Sales and Marketing. This role focuses on growing a currently small but high-potential business, building on existing markets in Europe and Asia Pacific and strengthening the brand’s awareness and performance in these channels.
Key responsibilities include developing and executing sales and marketing strategies for Travel Retail and Duty Free, partnering with relevant Travel Retail operators, and driving growth in priority markets. The position also requires people management to lead and support teams effectively, with strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks and manage a multicultural, international environment.
Candidates should have strong Travel Retail expertise in Europe and/or Asia with experience working with key Travel Retail operators, along with good people management and sales experience complemented by solid marketing capability. The client is looking for a minimum bachelor’s degree (with an MBA as a plus), fluency in English (with additional languages as a strong plus), excellent working knowledge of MS Office with strong Excel skills, and excellent presentation and communication abilities. The role is expected to support relocation to Milan.
