In this senior finance leadership role at the client, you will help redefine and shape a fast-growing organization by combining strategic responsibility with hands-on operational execution. The position is closely aligned with the top management level and plays a central part in developing the company’s future direction, with broad impact across finance operations and corporate reporting.
Your responsibilities include overall accountability for finance operations and consolidated financial reporting under HGB, as well as leading and further developing a growing accounting team. You will oversee preparation and continuous improvement of the consolidated financial statements and coordinate closely with external auditors, and you will support M&A activities, including appropriate accounting treatment and the integration of newly acquired entities. You will also build and scale a central accounting structure, standardize processes, chart of accounts, and closing procedures, and ensure efficient operations, high data quality, and short closing cycles.
In reporting and steering, you will advance cost-center logic, reporting, and forecasting, and establish an integrated management-control and KPI system. You will integrate new companies and develop governance and control structures, while optimizing the system landscape and leveraging automation and digitization opportunities. The role is typically suited to candidates with a background in business/economics or a comparable finance-focused qualification, multi-year leadership experience, strong expertise in HGB reporting and consolidated financial statements, and a solid understanding of process and system development supported by data-driven management.
