The client, a leading retailer with a specialized fashion offer, is seeking a Head of Expansion to support their Global Expansion Team. The role involves defining and implementing strategies to promote profitability and growth in various regions. Reporting directly to the Expansion Director, the Head of Expansion will be responsible for developing store expansion plans, identifying new business opportunities, and securing optimal locations for store openings.

Key responsibilities include exploring new markets and partners through various channels, conducting market analysis and feasibility studies, and negotiating key terms and conditions for new locations. The Head of Expansion will also need to develop a deep understanding of each market, customer profile, and competitor activity to effectively manage a portfolio of established and future markets. Additionally, they will be responsible for building and defending business cases, budgets, and sales forecasts to ensure a financially and commercially healthy portfolio within their markets.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail expansion strategies, with experience in developing and executing store expansion plans. They should possess excellent negotiation skills, market analysis capabilities, and the ability to manage multiple markets simultaneously.
