Description

The client is seeking a Head of Digital to lead the digital organization and drive best-in-class digital consumer experiences in e-commerce, supporting expansion in the US market. This role has significant impact on both short- and long-term success for the US organization and will be highly visible across the broader global organization.

The Head of Digital will develop the overall digital strategy and roadmap, leading a team across user experience/user interface, CRM, SEO, and digital analytics to improve conversion and engagement. Responsibilities include driving outperformance through a data-driven approach, increasing visitor traffic via organic search and paid advertising, continuously improving user experience and interface by analyzing consumer behavior, and using machine learning/AI to advance consumer segmentation and develop acquisition campaigns (including email marketing) that improve conversion. The role will also help plan and run online shopping events and deliver reporting and insights using machine learning/AI to improve key digital performance metrics.

Candidates should have 5–10+ years of experience in digital e-commerce, with a proven track record in a growth-oriented environment and a direct-to-consumer e-commerce background. The role requires strong leadership and relationship-building skills, including experience supporting organizational change and culture shifts with internal stakeholders. A strong technical aptitude is expected, along with hands-on management experience focused on staff development, recruiting, and retention; a process-oriented mindset; and experience planning and managing relationships with agencies, third-party developers, and internal stakeholders.
