Description

The client is seeking an independent consultant or senior digital account professional to lead digital account leadership for large-scale retail design projects in the New York office. The role is intended to support progression toward a Head of Digital level, with day-to-day client-facing ownership across multiple initiatives and strong collaboration with cross-functional teams. The client will operate across several global offices, and this position is focused on delivering outcomes for major client brands.

Responsibilities include serving as the primary day-to-day client contact, building strong working relationships, and identifying client issues while proposing solutions through major digital pillars. The role will support team development through coaching and training, and will actively initiate programs to upskill and develop talent. You will work closely with Creative, Technology, Delivery, Planning, UX, and Data to ensure deliverables meet deadlines, remain within estimates, and achieve world-class quality, while also supporting business development efforts such as running pitches and converting opportunities.

The ideal candidate will have extensive account management experience within a digital agency, professional services firm, or similar organization, along with a proven ability to build exceptional client relationships with the presence and professionalism needed to inspire confidence. The role requires strong understanding and experience across web/internet and marketing, including business strategy, information design, creative design, and web technology, plus broad awareness of campaign and annual planning elements tied to brand awareness. The candidate should be passionate about innovation and business strategy, able to act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, and bring experience leading accounts and managing projects and teams, with typically 7+ years of relevant digital experience, including prior senior titles such as Head of Digital or Digital Account Director.
