Key responsibilities include transforming existing application development processes toward a continuous delivery-driven SDLC and influencing development and QA teams to adopt modern delivery practices aligned with CI/CD approaches. The role will oversee infrastructure (primarily AWS) and software design, drive continuous delivery adoption and transformation, and manage ongoing support for both production and non-production environments. Planning and coaching responsibilities are central to helping teams mature their practices and execution.
The client seeks a candidate with an undergraduate degree in Computer Science or equivalent, along with strong, long-term experience supporting SDLC at scale in DevOps. Requirements include extensive experience in production systems and cloud platform delivery, comprehensive understanding of SDLC topics such as patching and releases, and solid knowledge of applied Agile processes. The role also calls for hands-on CI/CD experience with pipelines and tools, deep cloud expertise with AWS in particular, strong security-focused cloud-first DevOps understanding (including building robust solutions and considering penetration testing), and experience documenting and implementing disaster recovery procedures and BAU processes suitable for regulatory or compliance audits.
