The Naturpark Gantrisch is seeking a Head of Thematic Areas and Member of the Executive Management Team to join immediately or by agreement. Located in the triangle of Bern, Thun, and Fribourg, the Gantrisch Regional Nature Park focuses on promoting sustainable development in economy, society, and environment, known for its natural and cultural landscapes, regional economy, and social life.
In this role, you will lead the strategic development and implementation of the nature park program, focusing on biodiversity, landscape, spatial/regional development, culture, economy, and education. Responsibilities include managing projects, contributing to strategic development, building networks at local, cantonal, and national levels, and representing the organization in partner organizations. The ideal candidate will have a university degree in geography, agronomy, biology, or related fields, along with leadership experience, knowledge of sustainable development, and experience in project development and financing.
