The client is seeking a Head of Data to take full ownership of the organization’s data strategy, transformation, and AI enablement. This role will lead efforts to reshape a fragmented, reactive data landscape into a unified, scalable, and AI-enabled function that supports the wider business.
Key responsibilities include defining and delivering the company-wide BI and data strategy; owning and evolving the data platform, including architecture, data pipelines, and tooling; establishing a “single source of truth” through improved data quality, governance, and data modeling; designing and implementing a semantic or AI layer to enable natural language data access; and driving self-serve analytics adoption across teams.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in data strategy, platform ownership, and modern data architecture, as well as data modeling and ETL pipelines involving data lakes and cloud environments (with AWS being preferred). They should be comfortable managing and influencing senior stakeholders and leading change to drive adoption of data and AI tools among both technical and non-technical teams.
