The successful candidate will assume the position of Head of Engineering, leading the strategic direction and technical execution for a range of complex engineering challenges. This role involves owning and executing the engineering roadmap across multiple products, particularly focusing on architectural decisions for distributed data processing, machine learning (ML) pipelines, and modern web systems. These systems are designed to handle and process massive datasets catered to enterprise clients, requiring a deep understanding of both scalability and the evolving landscape of ML workloads in a rapidly advancing technological environment.
The engineering lead will champion best practices in testing, observability, incident response, and documentation, while setting standards for AI-assisted development practices at scale. This includes leading multi-disciplinary teams that encompass Backend, Web, Data Engineering, Data Science, Quality Assurance, and DevOps. A comprehensive understanding of delivering, deploying, and maintaining ML models in production is essential, along with familiarity with the ML lifecycle, such as feature stores, model deployment platforms, and pipeline orchestration. Experience working with cutting-edge generative AI tools is also preferred to excel in this role.
