As the single contact for data delivery, the Head of Data Delivery is responsible for prioritizing work from business requirements through to completion. The role entails close collaboration with Product Owners and senior stakeholders to balance strategic initiatives with impactful smaller projects, ensuring efficient and goal-aligned delivery. The position leads the functions of Business Analysis, Data Engineering, and Reporting, focusing on quality, efficiency, and consistency across these areas.
The ideal candidate should possess extensive experience in leading BI, analytics, or data delivery functions, with a proven track record of managing complex and large-scale data or analytics programs. Strong skills in business partnering and stakeholder management are required, along with the ability to handle prioritization, trade-offs, and delivery outcomes effectively. Experience with Business Analysts, Engineers, and BI teams is essential, and familiarity with tools like Power BI is preferred. Experience in regulated or complex environments will be beneficial, as will the ability to communicate the value of data products to the business effectively.
