The client is seeking a Head of Data Delivery to oversee the comprehensive delivery of data products, analytics, and reporting across a large, regulated organization. This leadership role requires accountability for deliverables, their impact on the business, and the structuring of teams to produce high-quality data solutions that drive business value. The position is not focused on project management but rather on directing strategic priorities and aligning delivery with organizational goals. The role involves managing three key areas: Business Analysis, Data Engineering, and Reporting.
Responsibilities include serving as the primary contact for data delivery, handling the prioritization and development of data requirements, and collaborating with Product Owners and senior stakeholders to balance strategic and high-impact initiatives. The leader will translate business problems into viable data solutions, oversee planning and prioritization for various teams, and ensure quality, efficiency, and consistency in delivery. The focus will remain on aligning initiatives with commercial and regulatory impact, while maintaining a detailed understanding to effectively challenge, support, and guide teams.
Ideal candidates will have extensive experience leading business intelligence, analytics, or data delivery functions and demonstrate a record of successfully delivering complex, large-scale data programs. A strong ability to partner with business units and manage stakeholders is essential, as well as expertise in prioritization, trade-offs, and achieving delivery outcomes. Experience in regulated or complex settings is highly valued, along with a hands-on understanding of reporting and analytics tools like Power BI. Candidates should be able to clearly communicate the business value of data products and demonstrate the ability to lead cross-functional teams successfully.
