Key responsibilities of this position include working directly with clients to address technical challenges, developing data and infrastructure strategies, and designing data platforms using AWS, ETL, and automation tools. The role also involves facilitating workshops, defining technical roadmaps, leading initial project phases, and integrating data pipelines and automation. Additionally, as delivery patterns mature, the Head of Data and Infrastructure will help scale the team's capabilities by bringing in external contractors.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in data engineering and infrastructure, expertise in ETL design, cloud environment capabilities (especially AWS), and experience with orchestration tools. A consulting mindset is necessary, along with the ability to run workshops and engage with senior stakeholders. While experience in the music industry is a plus, it is not mandatory.
