Step into a high-impact leadership role as Head of Corporate Parenting, reporting into senior leadership and working alongside provider services to shape borough-wide outcomes. This position takes ownership of permanency strategy, influences budget decisions, and leads the corporate parenting agenda during a critical period of change, with a focus on driving improved outcomes for children in care and care leavers.
Key responsibilities include leading permanency strategy across the service to ensure strong outcomes for CLA and care leavers; providing statutory oversight for CLA performance, quality, and wider service integration; coordinating and influencing the Corporate Parenting Board and sufficiency strategy; and fostering collaboration with provider services to align delivery and create shared accountability.

You should have a track record of service transformation aligned to social care reforms and demonstrate excellent senior-level stakeholder communication and partnership working, supported by a Social Work qualification with active Social Work England registration and current Enhanced DBS.
