Musikbro Basel is the network and support organization for popular music in the Basel region. The client is seeking a Head of Communications & Membership to join their team starting June 1, 2026. Responsibilities include overseeing the organization's communication strategy, advising senior management on communication matters, and managing external communication channels.
Operational tasks for this role involve conceptualizing and coordinating external communication channels, writing press releases, managing media contacts, and overseeing visual communication. Additionally, the Head of Communications & Membership will be responsible for membership administration, email campaigns, and organizing the annual general meeting of members.
The ideal candidate for this position is organized, detail-oriented, and has strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience with social media platforms and content management systems is required, with a preference for practical experience in communications and media relations, particularly in the cultural or nonprofit sector.
