The candidate will also oversee a portfolio aiming for strong risk-adjusted returns, targeting an IRR of 10-13%, while actively managing asset performance and implementing risk management strategies.
As a strategic leader, the candidate will contribute to the expansion of the client's UK platform, building and nurturing relationships with borrowers, developers, brokers, and institutional partners.
The role requires representation at investment committees and senior leadership forums, alongside mentoring and developing the investment team to foster a high-performance culture.
This opportunity is designed for someone with a minimum of 15 years of experience in commercial real estate private credit or lending, preferably from a credit fund, and a proven track record in UK CRE debt transactions.
The ideal candidate is someone with strong underwriting, structuring, and negotiation skills, comprehensive market knowledge of UK commercial real estate, and European exposure.
Familiarity with leveraged structures and capital markets is beneficial.
