The client is seeking a Head of Change Transformation for Banking Operations to shape and drive the strategic direction of change across branch operations. The role provides leadership and oversight across the full change lifecycle, from early concept and design through execution, embedding, and post-implementation review, ensuring initiatives are aligned to long-term objectives and deliver measurable business value.
Key responsibilities include establishing and maintaining robust frameworks to prioritize change initiatives, proactively identify and manage risks, and ensure delivery is controlled, compliant, and transparent. The role leads complex, cross-functional transformation programs, including implementation of new products and processes, partnering closely with stakeholders to maintain accountability and engagement throughout the change lifecycle, and promoting structured change methodologies supported by performance metrics to support consistency and sustained value.
The ideal candidate will have a senior background spanning core banking operations and a strong change and transformation orientation, with experience across operational process change, controls, risk management, governance, and regulatory expectations. Required experience includes leading complex cross-functional transformation in a regulated environment, designing governance and control frameworks, influencing senior stakeholders, and demonstrating leadership in team management, analytical problem-solving, and decision-making; experience with common change methodologies may be beneficial, along with strong communication and presentation skills.
