Description

kibesuisse is the national industry association for family-complementary education and childcare in Switzerland. We develop guidelines and recommendations for the sector and advise our members and public authorities. At both regional and national levels, we actively advocate for better framework conditions, represent the education policy interests of the sector, and collaborate closely with politicians, public authorities, and professional organizations. Do you want to contribute your ideas, move the sector forward, and provide impulses for strong structures in Central Switzerland and nationwide for school-complementary day programs? If so, we are looking for you to strengthen our team immediately or by agreement.

In these roles, you will actively contribute within the associations Regions and Pedagogy, Business Administration and Quality circles. Your Responsibilities as Head of the Central Switzerland Region include supporting and advising members on region-specific issues, representing members interests in Central Switzerland, monitoring legal frameworks, developing and coordinating regional projects, collaborating with cantonal and municipal authorities, representing kibesuisse in working groups, expert committees, and professional events, organizing and leading regional professional exchange meetings, managing service agreements and contracts, and contributing to association-wide projects and cross-regional initiatives. As the Specialist Lead for School-Complementary Daycare Structures, you will contribute to the development and implementation of multi-year strategic action plans, help develop a broadly supported association position on sector-relevant topics, develop quality standards, publications, and working guidelines, provide technical support to members, establish a competence center and network for school-complementary childcare, lead internal working groups, and participate in external working groups.

Your Profile should include tertiary education, preferably in political science, social sciences, education, social work, association management, or a comparable qualification, industry experience and a network within the field of school-complementary childcare, knowledge of the Swiss education and childcare system, strong entrepreneurial, conceptual, and strategic thinking skills, proven networking ability, experience working in agile, flat organizational structures, and motivation to contribute to a holacratic organizational model. Position is based in Switzerland.
