The client is seeking a Head of Broadcast Production to create and deliver a world-class broadcast product for a professional basketball league launching in 2026. The role defines the “look and feel” of live game broadcasts and related content, aiming to position the league as a premium entertainment offering with a production style and innovation that resonate with fans locally and globally.
The Head of Broadcast Production will oversee end-to-end broadcast delivery, including pre-production planning, creative direction, live execution, and ongoing innovation for digital content and fan experience. Key responsibilities include developing a broadcast strategy and creative vision; leading live game production and ensuring technical quality across multiple platforms; introducing modern broadcast techniques and storytelling, such as graphics, data integration, and enhanced viewer experiences; and overseeing content development spanning highlights, behind-the-scenes, documentaries, and social-first video with seamless integration between broadcast and digital channels.
The role also includes managing relationships with broadcasters, sponsors, rights-holders, and relevant regulatory stakeholders, and serving as the key executive contact for broadcast and production partners to support commercial obligations in collaboration with the commercial team. In addition, the Head of Broadcast Production will recruit, train, and lead a high-performing production team, developing both on-screen and off-screen talent while fostering a culture of innovation, creativity, and operational excellence.
