Client is seeking a senior leader with responsibility for the strategic direction and ongoing development of its application development function, focused on SAP CML/CMS. In this role, you will provide both technical (functional) and people leadership, shaping the team’s roadmap and supporting continuous improvement in capabilities and delivery.
You will work closely with internal business units and coordinate external partners to advance the organization’s IT applications, services, and products both strategically and operationally. Responsibilities also include contributing to procurement and vendor selection processes and supporting contract negotiations, as well as supervising compliance requirements and helping define appropriate measures to ensure implementation.
The position includes accountability for budgeting, cost and performance monitoring, and long-term IT resource planning, along with the creation of transparent reporting on costs, services, and requirements. You are expected to hold a degree in (business) informatics or a comparable qualification in the IT field, with multi-year experience in a SAP banking context, ideally in SAP CML/CMS, plus proven leadership experience managing teams and external partners, agile project and process management experience, strong analytical and structured decision-making, and excellent communication skills with a focus on developing employees.
