This role is for a Head of Analytics on an 8-month fixed-term contract within a private equity-backed green technology business operating in the electric vehicle charging sector in the UK. The client manages numerous charging points and aims to leverage its significant data assets to enhance decision-making, customer experience, and operational efficiency. The position requires you to be a UK resident with full UK working rights and entails working within a data team that is part of the finance leadership, emphasizing analytics and business intelligence (BI) as strategic core capabilities within the organization.
The role involves leading analytics and BI, focusing on translating business problems into data-driven insights and ensuring these insights are embedded into daily decision-making. Responsibilities include partnering with various teams like customer success, operations, and marketing to optimize reporting on key performance areas such as customer interactions, service reliability, and marketing engagement. Additionally, there is a need to champion the use of Power BI and promote data literacy across teams, helping non-technical staff utilize data effectively, while also managing senior stakeholders and contributing to the advancement of analytics within the client.
Essential qualifications include previous experience in managing analytics or BI professionals, a strong analytics and business intelligence background, and proficiency in SQL.
