The client is hiring a Head of Analytics to lead a centralized analytics function within a fast-growing, data-driven business undergoing significant transformation across analytics, AI, and decisioning. This is a high-visibility role working closely with senior leadership to enable faster, better, data-led decision-making across the organization.
In this role, you will lead a central Analytics and MI team operating as a shared service for Finance, Marketing, and executive stakeholders. Key responsibilities include moving from reporting to actionable insight, embedding AI into analytics workflows, improving data structures and automation, supporting the rollout of a decision engine, and managing priorities across multiple senior stakeholders. This is a player-coach position with an approximately 50/50 split between leadership and hands-on delivery.
The client is seeking an experienced leader with a proven track record leading analytics or MI teams and strong capability to translate data into clear commercial insight. You should have hands-on technical skills (SQL and Python), experience with modern data tools (such as Snowflake and Power BI), and exposure to AI tools and automation in analytics. Strong stakeholder management is essential, and the role may suit an existing Head of Analytics or a strong Senior Manager ready to step up in a data-rich commercial environment; financial services experience may be helpful but is not required.
