A leading Indian consumer brand is searching for a strategic and dynamic Head of Marketing to spearhead its brand transformation and digital innovation efforts. This role involves overseeing a cross-functional marketing team, driving impactful campaigns across various business units, channels, and consumer touchpoints. The client is a prominent brand in the consumer electricals and home appliances industry, part of a well-respected diversified business group. Known for its innovation and customer-centric approach, the client is in the midst of a brand transformation to build a modern, digitally focused identity for the future.

In this position, the selected candidate will report to the Chief Marketing Officer and will lead a team of 15-20 individuals through both direct and matrix reporting structures. The role requires extensive collaboration with cross-functional teams including Business Unit Heads, Sales, Category, HR, and senior leadership such as the MD/CEO. Key responsibilities include defining and refreshing the brand architecture, driving both Above-the-Line (ATL) and Below-the-Line (BTL) integrated marketing campaigns, overseeing creative development and content excellence, aligning marketing roadmaps with business unit goals, and leading digital storytelling and public relations efforts. The successful applicant should bring over 15 years of experience in building consumer brands, with a strong understanding of marketing operations in traditional distribution setups, and be passionate about transforming the client into a market-leading brand.

Candidates with experience in Consumer Durables, Appliances, Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), or Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) environments are preferred. The role requires a self-starter with demonstrated ability to work in matrixed environments, multitask efficiently, and influence internal teams effectively. Additional experience in Product Management and Consumer Insights is important.
