The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to maintaining high educational standards and demonstrated excellence in secondary teaching and learning. They will be responsible for developing and communicating a strategic educational vision that balances tradition with innovation to meet contemporary needs.
The Head will play a crucial role in enhancing student achievement, teaching quality, and overall school performance. They must possess excellent financial acumen, operational skills, and people management capabilities. As the face of the client, the Head will need exceptional communication skills to engage with students, teachers, administrators, parents, alumni, board members, and external stakeholders. They will be expected to foster a positive, inclusive culture while honoring the school's Anglican Christian foundation and Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
