Description

As the Growth Director for a leading women’s football program, the client is seeking a senior commercial leader to own and deliver the program’s commercial performance. In an executive-level, hands-on role, you will define and drive a multi-year growth strategy focused on revenue, audience expansion, matchday performance, and brand development, with clear annual targets and measurable outcomes. You will be accountable for women’s outcomes within a centralised commercial structure, aligning sporting ambition with commercial priorities to translate on-pitch momentum into sustained off-pitch growth.

You will establish a disciplined operating rhythm across planning, performance tracking, and executive reporting, and you will be measured against defined revenue, attendance, engagement, and partnership objectives. Core responsibilities include building acquisition, engagement, and retention plans in partnership with commercial marketing, CRM, content, and communications teams, and strengthening the supporter journey from awareness to purchase and repeat attendance through data, insights, and conversion optimisation. You will champion coherent women’s storytelling within brand guardrails and deliver measurable improvements in attendance growth, repeat rates, and fan lifetime value.

The role also covers matchday and venue commercial performance, including leading matchday growth and yield strategy across pricing, on-sale approach, inventory optimisation, and fan experience, while maximising commercial return per fixture and long-term supporter value. You will develop and execute the women’s venue strategy across relevant home-match locations and selected fixtures, partnering with ticketing, venue, food and beverage, and premium teams to ensure matchday delivery meets performance and brand standards. In addition, you will shape a compelling women-centric partnerships narrative, support partner acquisition aligned to the growth story, and lead team and operating model execution by setting clear accountabilities and formalising delivery agreements with shared specialist functions.
