Headquartered in the UK and employing approximately 2,000 people, it serves customers in more than 80 countries through manufacturing, technical and commercial operations across multiple regions. The client develops and manufactures speciality ingredients and performance additives used across sectors such as paints and coatings, personal care, construction, polymer systems, energy, and industrial manufacturing.
The client is seeking a Group Procurement Director to lead its global procurement function during an evolution supported by a significant procurement transformation programme. Reporting into senior leadership, you will shape and deliver global procurement strategy across direct and indirect spend categories, working with regional leadership, site operations, finance, and technical functions. Key priorities include driving value creation, improving supplier performance, enabling strategic sourcing, and advancing procurement maturity and best practice across the organisation to support ambitious global growth.
The client is looking for senior procurement leaders with experience in complex manufacturing, industrial, or process-led environments, with strong track records in strategic sourcing, category management, supplier development, and procurement transformation. You should have demonstrated ability to align stakeholders across international organisations, embed new ways of working, and increase procurement’s strategic impact. Experience with procurement technology and data-led decision-making, as well as exposure to complex raw material supply chains, is expected to be advantageous; you must also be eligible to live and work in the UK, as no visa sponsorship is on offer.
