The Group Manager Strategy & Finance is a newly created executive leadership position that combines Strategy and Finance functions to enhance strategic thinking and financial stewardship throughout the organization. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive, this role involves leading a diverse team responsible for financial accounting, strategic planning, programme delivery, rates, commercial assets, and business services. The Group Manager will play a key role in shaping long-term planning, policy, and investment decisions to ensure fiscal integrity and sustainable outcomes for the organization. Additionally, this position oversees the Chief Financial Advisor and drives innovation and continuous improvement in financial systems and processes, particularly through the FMIS replacement project.As a member of the Executive Leadership Team (ELT), the Group Manager Strategy & Finance will provide strategic leadership, support the organization's vision and priorities, and fulfill statutory responsibilities. Beyond their portfolio, they will contribute to organizational outcomes and model high-performance behaviors and culture.
