the client is a privately owned international industrial group operating in a business-to-business manufacturing environment with multiple production locations across Europe and beyond, supplying tailored products and solutions to a global customer base. the client is seeking a senior finance leader to take end-to-end responsibility for group finance, accounting, and reporting, including group consolidation, statutory reporting, and support for monthly and annual closings. the role also includes preparation of annual accounts and coordination with external auditors and advisors.
the position will oversee and develop international finance teams and will also supervise HR administration and payroll processes in cooperation with external providers. key responsibilities include cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, and working capital optimization, as well as management of banking relationships and financing structures. the role is responsible for tax compliance and structuring, including VAT and corporate income tax, and for oversight of insurance programs and financial risk management.
the successful applicant will own and optimize the finance IT and ERP landscape and will be actively involved in M&A activities, integrations, and other strategic initiatives. requirements include a master’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field, along with 5–10+ years of relevant experience in senior finance leadership roles, and background in an international, operational, and asset-heavy environment. the ideal candidate will have strong strategic capabilities paired with a hands-on, pragmatic approach, experience operating across executive and operational levels, solid exposure to ERP and financial reporting tools, and strong communication skills for collaboration across cultures and seniority levels.
