The Rose City is looking for an Executive Director of Pollution Control/Deputy City Engineer to oversee the Pollution Control Division within the Infrastructure Services Department. Reporting to the Commissioner, Infrastructure Services and City Engineer, this role involves leading the engineering, operation, maintenance, and delivery of wastewater services. The Executive Director will be responsible for managing the Lou Romano Water Reclamation Plant, Little River Pollution Control Plant, Windsor Biosolids Processing Facility, sewage and stormwater pumping stations, and stormwater management ponds.In addition to overseeing the daily operations of various facilities, the Executive Director will also be responsible for industrial waste/pollutant monitoring and enforcement programs. This includes ensuring compliance with all relevant provincial legislative and regulatory standards related to wastewater systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering and experience in managing large-scale wastewater facilities to effectively lead and champion the Pollution Control Division within the city.
