The President and Chief Executive Officer of our client is responsible for providing overall leadership and direction to ensure the institution fulfills its mission and remains responsive in a rapidly changing post-secondary environment. This includes providing strategic, financial, and organizational leadership, as well as fostering a student-centered, inclusive, and high-performing culture among staff and faculty. The President works collaboratively with the Board and senior leadership team to develop and execute strategic and academic plans, aligning resources to support institutional priorities while navigating fiscal constraints and evolving labour market needs.The President is also accountable for creating and sustaining a work environment that promotes trust, transparency, accountability, and inclusivity, while guiding the College through change thoughtfully and ethically. As the principal ambassador of the College, the President develops and strengthens strategic partnerships with government, Indigenous communities, educational partners, business leaders, and community organizations to secure new opportunities, enhance the College's profile, and position it as a trusted anchor institution within Sault Ste. Marie and Northern Ontario. Overall, the President plays a central role in ensuring the success and sustainability of our client by prioritizing student success, strengthening confidence in College programs and services, and fostering positive relationships with stakeholders.
