Description

The HR Director at our client reports to the Secretary General, Governance and Student Life, and is responsible for developing and implementing strategies related to human resources management. They advise management on HR matters, labour relations, and total compensation management, acting as a senior advisor to senior and academic managers. The incumbent supports academic and administrative leaders in managing and motivating their teams, while promoting consistent and effective management approaches in a constantly evolving environment. They interpret and apply University policies and regulations, implementing programs and procedures related to HR planning, collective agreements, job classification, compensation and benefits administration, and other HR management programs.The HR Director at our client focuses on evolving HR practices towards more integrated models that enhance the employee experience and organizational performance. They oversee initiatives to strengthen talent engagement, attraction, and retention, driving continuous improvement in HR practices. Additionally, the incumbent develops and maintains strategic partnerships with business partners to ensure effective HR management and position the HR function as a key driver of transformation and value creation within the University.
