Community Health Network (CHN) in Indianapolis, Indiana is seeking an Executive Vice President and General Counsel to join their executive leadership team. Reporting to the President and CEO, the General Counsel will provide legal guidance to the executive committee, Board of Directors, and senior leaders. They will need to have a sophisticated understanding of the healthcare landscape to deliver strategic legal insight that supports CHN's growth objectives and long-term strategic goals. In addition to leading the Legal function, this role will also oversee Internal Audit to ensure strong governance, internal controls, and risk management practices.The General Counsel will lead and develop a team of attorneys and internal audit leaders, focusing on efficiency, collaboration, and leveraging technology to improve workflows. They will need to quickly build credibility and trust across the organization by integrating legal perspectives into enterprise-wide strategies and initiatives. Success in this role requires deep expertise in healthcare operations, governance, and regulatory complexity, as well as the ability to proactively assess and manage risk to support organizational progress.
