The Chief Medical Officer (CMO) at McLaren Bay Region will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between system-wide strategy and local implementation. Reporting to the Executive Vice President and Chief Clinical Officer of McLaren Health Care, the CMO will collaborate with various teams to ensure high performance in quality, safety, service, and value. This includes working closely with medical staff leaders, nursing, quality, patient safety, regulatory, compliance, operational, and system leadership teams.The CMO will be responsible for overseeing quality outcomes, credentialing and privileging, provider professionalism, performance improvement, and supporting value-based care initiatives. This includes monitoring progress on key metrics such as Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grades, CMS Star Ratings, and the Top 100 Program. The successful candidate will need to have strong leadership skills and the ability to work effectively with a diverse group of stakeholders to drive continuous improvement in healthcare delivery.
