Description

The client is seeking a Global Travel Retail Marketing lead to support its travel retail and duty free business. The role will partner with the US marketing team and Travel Retail teams to drive and execute the brand’s global Travel Retail marketing strategy, with responsibility for developing programs and materials that support distribution and brand growth.

Key responsibilities include designing, developing, and implementing global marketing programs and associated materials; creating and rolling out local or regional Travel Retail initiatives in collaboration with Travel Retail Sales Managers; identifying opportunities to increase brand awareness; planning and executing marketing calendars with retailers and airport authorities; and analyzing the return on investment of marketing activities. The role also supports Gift With Purchase initiatives, conducts regular visits to points of sale to ensure proper implementation, and engages with key travel retail customers to present new brand marketing opportunities while monitoring competition, market conditions, and retailer trends.

The ideal candidate will have a strong marketing or brand management background in Travel Retail / Duty Free and at least five years of relevant experience. A bachelor’s degree is required, with a master’s degree preferred. The client also seeks strong business and commercial acumen, a proven managerial track record, and prior experience with premium brands across relevant categories. Previous titles in roles such as Marketing Manager, Marketing Director, Brand Manager, Brand Director, or Product Manager are appreciated, and relocation to Illinois (south of Chicago) is expected.
