Description

the client is seeking a senior commercial or operational leader to step into a highly visible role managing and coordinating a major global strategic account across the mining and industrial sectors. The position will focus on strengthening senior executive relationships across operational, commercial, and corporate leadership teams, aligning regional business units and internal stakeholders around a unified global customer strategy, and identifying growth opportunities across products, services, aftermarket, and integrated solutions.

Key responsibilities include chairing strategic account forums to drive collaboration across international teams, leading complex commercial discussions and supporting major negotiations, and serving as the escalation and relationship point for senior customer stakeholders globally. The role will maintain strong visibility across operational delivery, customer priorities, and market developments, while driving long-term account planning and strategic partnership initiatives to support sustained customer alignment.

The successful applicant will have deep exposure to mining, resources, industrial services, or heavy engineering contexts, with experience managing large, enterprise-level customer relationships in complex industrial environments. A background spanning mining services, OEMs, industrial technology, engineering solutions, or operational leadership is expected, along with strong commercial capability for strategic negotiations and complex customer engagements, the ability to influence across matrix organizations, and an executive presence that can credibly engage senior operational and corporate leaders; international stakeholder management experience and domestic and international travel as required are also expected.
