The client is seeking a senior retail leader to define and execute the global retail strategy aligned with a strategic repositioning toward the premium/luxury segment. The role will be responsible for coordinating an international network of both company-owned stores and franchised locations, ensuring operational and brand consistency while driving excellence across sales, service, visual merchandising, and customer experience.
The position will also include leading and developing a small team of Area Managers, maintaining alignment on priorities and results, and supporting talent development. In addition, it will support professionalization through processes, KPIs, tools, and operational discipline, and it will ensure franchises are executed in line with corporate standards. The role will focus on maximizing network profitability across sales, margin, productivity, and operational efficiency.
The successful candidate is expected to have strong international retail leadership experience and a proven track record of managing mixed networks (own retail and franchises), typically at a senior level. Experience in luxury or premium brands is highly valued, along with demonstrated ability to lead through transformation, restructuring, or cultural change, and to apply strong brand, product, and customer-experience sensitivity. Frequent travel is expected, and collaboration with functions such as marketing, product, and expansion will be integral to ensure coherent brand execution across markets.
